Small but mighty. When I moved back to NJ years ago, I was saddened to find the plethora of coffee houses to have seemingly disappeared only to be replaced by (ughhh) Starbucks. There seems to be a resurgence in the coffee community in recent years and I am excited that Cedar Beans is a part of that. It has a great atmosphere and staff as well as great coffee. I'm excited to see what they do in the years to come.
We have been looking forward to visiting Cedar Beans since you opened. My daughter and her family live in Cedar Grove and had told me how excited they were that such an inviting, community oriented business was in their neighborhood. My husband and I finally got to experience your delicious menu and hospitality when we visited yesterday. Julia, our barister, was so friendly and made us delicious and beautifully finished mocha lattes. We look forward to sitting near your fireplace in the cold weather or enjoying the breeze near your sliding doors in warm weather with our children and grandchildren in future visits. Really nice atmosphere. Coffee was OK, mine had way too much cream so tasted very bland. One suggestion for improvement: let customers add their own milk/cream. I asked for a little cream in my coffee and I got way too much, perhaps killing flavor of the coffee
The coffee is truly spectacular and the staff are so friendly. The baristas take special care to deliver a cup full of happiness! This is a place where you wanna come to taste and see it for yourself!
What a great spot! The coffee is SO delicious! The staff is super nice, the decor is super comfortable and welcoming. Cedar Grove has needed a coffee spot for years and Cedar Beans knocks it out of the park! Way to go and welcome to town!!!!
